Motivate Me Monday

How have we all been getting on?

I made steps, although small, towards getting back on track again. I was a little naughty, but that's normal. You can't restrict yourself all week. So it's been a mixed bag this week but I feel better for it. I hope that all of you have all been feeling more motivated again too!

e.l.f Tea Rose Matte Lipstick Pencil Review

My lipstick collection is forever growing and this is another addition I am loving at the moment. The Matte Lip Pencils from e.l.f are quickly becoming my favourite lip colours at the moment, with Tea Rose leading the way.

It's a subtle, pale pink with nude tones, making it a gorgeous day time wear as well as the ideal shade for those nights you want your eyes to work. Another thing that I think you will love about this lip colour is that because the lipstick is in pencil form, it is so easy to follow the shape of your lips.

They are so cheap too, I love an item that doesn't break the bank and this ticks all the boxes.

Katy Perry Punk Princess Eyelashes

Katy Perry's collections for Eylure never disappoint. I always fall in love with them, whether they're dainty lashes for daytime or the crazy festival coloured ones I reviewed when I first started blogging, she caters for every occasion.

Her latest collection is no different and when I spotted these is Boots, they somehow ended up in my shopping basket. Don't know how that happened??

The Punk Princess lashes aren't the most dramatic lashes from her collection but they are so stunning. They have a slightly more feathered finish, which I am loving at the moment. So once on they look more natural and people have even said that I look like I've just got an amazing mascara on.

So if you're not a fan of the false lash look but still want to wow, then Punk Princess is highly recommended.

e.l.f Kabuki Brush Review

Kabuki Make Up Brush review from Eyes Lips Face. Bekas Beauty - British UK Beauty Blogger

I think every girl should have a kabuki brush in her make up bag.

Every since I got my first one from Topshop, I use it for so much. From simple powdering to applying bronzer, it picks up just the right amount onto the bristles and applies it all onto your face evenly. And because of it's size and shape, it's also great for buffing out any cakey looking make up on your face.

I love my Kabuki brushes and my latest one (now that the Topshop one is getting a bit old) is from e.l.f cosmetics.

Motivate Me Monday

I don't know why, but I've found getting myself motivated over the last few weeks very difficult. It might just be because its so groggy at the moment and I hate being stuck in an office all day, but I dunno, does anyone else find this?

So this week I want to get back on track. I've planned in my meals on MFP today and I plan to go for my walk/run for 30 minutes tonight. Let's get back into the swing of things again!

L'Oreal Color Riche Doutzen Lipstick Review

Before pay day even lands in my bank, I'm guilty of already spending my hard earned cash in my head. I'm constantly thinking about little trinkets I want for my room and ALWAYS obsessed with getting involved in some new beauty products.

So when the end of the month finally came around, I headed to Boots to not only top up on some of my staples that were running out, but to maybe take advantage of the 3 for 2 offers they have going on. Which lead to me finding a pretty gorgeous little lipstick in the L'Oreal section.

The Doezten's Nude lipstick is so different to how I thought it would be. Here's me thinking it would be a creamy, light pink shade. It actually goes on very sheer and has a lovely shimmer to it.

Truthfully, at first I hated this. I just thought it was really disappointing and I was glad I'd got it on a 3 for 2 offer. But, after I'd tried it a few times and took photos for the blog, it grew on me. It's subtle but really pretty, quite a nice change to the thick, creamy lipsticks I usually get.

I would definitely recommend this if you're looking to add something to your daytime beauty regime. If it's good enough for a Victoria's Secret angel, then I'm game!

Eyeko & Glamour

Everyone has been talking about Glamour this month... and it's all because of Eyeko.

One of THE best eye liners on the market could be found attached to the magazine for the price of the magazine. So it's pretty silly of you to pass up.

This Eyeko Black Eyeliner is sleek to look at and provides you with the best precision and control I've ever had with an eyeliner... like, ever!

So throughout June, get yourself down to the shops and spend a mere £2 for an eyeliner that costs nearly 7 times as much.

e.l.f Golden Glitz Glitter Gloss

What a mouthful that title is?!

This gloss has surprised me for a number of reasons. Firstly because it was free, coming in the form of a freebie with my order from e.l.f and secondly because I usually stay away from glosses, but I actually quite like it.

It's not something you can wear everyday, unless you're channelling Lady Gaga. But it honestly is stunning. Even before you take the wand out of the tube, just look at how stunning Golden Glitz is? It's so inviting isn't it.

Once taken out, you're presented with a super glam and glitter packed gloss that I love to wear on it's own as well as over a colour.

Here it is solo...

And partnered up with Heroine

What do you think? I know it isn't to everyones taste, but I wasn't a lipgloss lover, and It's converted me.

NARS La Paz Review

I love NARS and I most certainly love a berry lipstick. So when I got my hands on this beauty, I was so excited to see the results.

This purple La Paz lipstick provides you with a Pure Matte finish and what intrigued me most about this lipstick was the added element of sparkle mixed into the formula. I put this on and it was so pigmented, which you'd expect from a more expensive brand.

What do you think?
